I love this ring and it truly is such a great piece and I love to wear it all the time, and I knew that it was platinum plated brass but I hadn't expected it to discolor the area around (to green). The platinum plate is so thin; I didn't expect it to start flaking off after only a few weeks of wearing it. I was really excited to buy from enroute and it seemed like a decent piece that I could wear on the regular, so I was incredibly disappointed to find that it had the same quality as costume jewelry at a higher price.
