Gold Plated Brass
Gold plated jewelry means that a layer of gold is attached to the surface of a base metal. At En Route, we only use genuine gold for our plating. Brass is a hard metal, after integrated with gold, it helps with preserving the shape of the jewelry.
Our gold plating is very sturdy, however you should still try to avoid contact with chemicals and moisture to keep your jewelry in mint condition. If your jewelry comes into contact with water, it is recommended that you dry it with a soft cloth or tissue, as moisture can damage surfaces and cause them to rust.

So my necklace accidentally went through a hardcore quality check. It somehow slipped into the pipe under my sink (I didn‘ even notice) and I was looking for it for like two months. Then we looked into the pipes bc the sink was all clogged up and found it. There was a little rust on it here and there but I was able to scratch it off. I mean we put chemical stuff in there to get the pipes free and all. So yeah, pretty good quality I guess. Also it‘s really cute, I‘m glad I found it again.

This necklace is super cute and versatile! It has easily become one of my go-to necklaces because it's so easy to wear! It's also the only necklace I have that actually sits at the base of my neck (like it should as shown in the product photo) on the tightest chain loop which is a huge bonus, because most necklaces don't fit me properly!
