Gold Plated Brass
Gold plated jewelry means that a layer of gold is attached to the surface of a base metal. At En Route, we only use genuine gold for our plating. Brass is a hard metal, after integrated with gold, it helps with preserving the shape of the jewelry.
Our gold plating is very sturdy, however you should still try to avoid contact with chemicals and moisture to keep your jewelry in mint condition. If your jewelry comes into contact with water, it is recommended that you dry it with a soft cloth or tissue, as moisture can damage surfaces and cause them to rust.

Tricky to put on. Helps to know that the thinner side goes in first and can be gently bent. If you have one lobe piercing this is a good way to test out if you want a second. Now that I have a second lobe piercing I can use it on my second hole and wear a big hoop for the first to create more of an illusion.

I love the look, they're very believable as separate piercings! I got them because my earlobes are too thin for me to safely get multiple piercings. They're a tiny bit heavier than I expected, and they took me a couple tries to figure out how to put them in. The thinner side is bendable, so don't worry if they arrive a little squished.
