Rose Beyond The Wall
Outside the garden wall
Grows a lonely rose.
Battered by forces of nature.
Away from the care of gardeners
Yet she blooms.
Wilderness sharpens her thorns.
Freedom tinges her petals.
Her scent is infused with the moonlight.
Her passion is matched only by the heat of the sun.
She needs no admirers.
Cos' she's an incomparable just on her own.
They say,
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Manicured, defined by the garden onlookers.
